Reminder about a business opportunity to promote your business to HMAS Newcastle and Broome Visit

This is just a quick email reminder regarding the below previous request for offers suitable for welcome packs, to assist in generating business from the pending Naval Visit of HMAS’s Newcastle and Broome. 

Those still wanting to take advantage of the influx of visitors to our town wanting by all means please follow the instructions below to be included.

We will be making creating the welcome packs on Monday the 4th June in time for the first Ship so please make sure you have reached us in time.

For those that didn’t receive the attached form to assist in communicating your offer please see below:

The HMAS BROOME (21 Crew) and HMAS NEWCASTLE(180 crew) will be visiting the Port of Newcastle over the respective dates of 5-7 June(midweek) and 8- 11 June(weekend).

There will be approximately 225 crew members overall , keen to enjoy some rest and relaxation in our vibrant city.

The City of Newcastle will be providing the ship’s crew members with welcome packs containing special offers for, and information about, Newcastle’s activities, attractions, tours, shopping, dining and transport.

For previous Navy visits, discount vouchers, special offers and food/beverage vouchers have been particularly popular with the crew and successful in drawing patronage for participating businesses.

If the above dates are relevant to and business would like to be included in the packs please deliver your vouchers/offers to the L!vesites office at 361 Hunter Street, Newcastle (formerly the Visitor Information Centre) no later than 5pm Friday 1 June.

Please note: Please describe wether you would like your vouchers handed to the crew of a particular ship or if your offer/voucher is suitable for all berthing dates. If so we will require 225 for each pack.

Please note if you don’t want to provide vouchers and would still like to offer a discounted service to attract patronage to your business please complete the attached form and return to the listed contact. We will inform the Crew contact with the list of businesses and their offers.
