Joint forum featuring the Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner, Newcastle Now and the Hunter Business Chamber
The Hunter Business Chamber and Newcastle Now will jointly host a forum with the Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner to provide businesses with
the opportunity to hear more about the role the Office plays and how they can assist business, in context of the challenges being experienced around
the light rail project work.
Where and when is the forum being held?
Date: Wednesday 24 January 2018
Venue: Crowne Plaza Newcastle, Cnr Wharf Rd & Merewether St, Newcastle
Time: Arrive at 7.30am for registration and a 7.45am start, concluding at 9.00am
A light breakfast will be available upon arrival. Information will be presented by the NSW Small Business Commissioner, Robyn Hobbs OAM, followed by

It is important for businesses to understand that they should be collecting and recording information now in relation to any concerns or issues they
may be experiencing. This may include photographs, diary notes about customer traffic, trading patterns, comments from customers, and interactions
with contractors and/or agencies. An update on the light rail project will also be provided at the forum.
