Royal Exchange is pleased to present - CLUB SANDWICH

Fri 1st June 8pm $20

(first friday of every month variety show)

Happy Birthday, Liz
Even though she was born on 21 April, that’s far too close to ANZAC Day and - quelle horreur - might even get tangled up with Easter, so in Australia, the Queen of England can jolly well have her birthday in June, when it’s high time for us to have an unmitigated public holiday.

Mistress of the pastel Duster coat and immoveable weighted hems, Her Royal Highness has been a beacon of style and stability in an increasingly mad world. Whether it’s turning the other cheek to Phil’s endless array of unmentionable outbursts, or making sensible small talk with quasi-deserving OBE recipients, QEII’s maturity and breeding have inspired rafts of devoted imitators, some of whom wear even brighter, more expensive clothing, more makeup, and much higher shoes than she does.
So wear your best tiara, or polish up the crown jewels for a night of royal variety entertainment – comedy, music, dance and at least one quiz at…well where else? The Royal Exchange of course!
