City Ambassador Volunteers Needed

Engage. Belong. Build.

Engage with your City,
Belong to the Community,
Build your Network.

Want an engaging, meaningful volunteer experience as a Newcastle City Ambassador to ensure the long-term viability and growth of our City? City Ambassadors provide an on-street presence in the Newcastle Central Business District, working in pairs to support visitors and the public with vital accessibility information, points of interest and directions. Different session opportunities are available Monday-Friday, plus weekends to suit your lifestyle. Newcastle City Ambassadors are also invited to attend ad hoc events to support businesses and community events.

How volunteering can get you a job? Volunteering gives you experience, expands your network, new skills, builds your confidence, bringing you many personal and social benefits.

Benefits Volunteering is excellent for emotional, mental and physical health. You meet different kinds of people, make new friends and have fun!
