Visit Nobbys Lighthouse
grounds from 10am to 4pm every Sunday for sweeping views of the city and the Pacific
Ocean from Nobbys Headland. Entry to the site is Free.
Parking is located adjacent to Nobbys Beach at Camp Shortland. The lighthouse is an 800-metre walk from the car park, with a steep climb at the end.
There is a small kiosk on site serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and light snacks. Visitors are welcome to pack their own supplies and make the most of
the beautiful 360-degree views.
There is a small exhibition of historical photographs on display in cottage two.
The Lighthouse is cared for by Newcastle Now volunteer City Ambassadors who open the grounds to the general public each Sunday.
